How the ranking works

A weighted average between the Google score and the number of reviews. A business with a 5 and twelve reviews doesn't overtake one with a 4.8 and a thousand, because the second figure is far more reliable than the first.

Being in the guide is free. On top of that, a business can take out a plan so its listing says more — website linked, photo, opening hours, bookings, social media — and, on the VIP plan, so it appears first in its category with a clearly visible “Featured” label. The rest of the listing keeps its order and is not affected. Prices are on the prices page.
